I am a children’s book author and illustrator from Montana.

I love writing about and illustrating all the fur, fins, feathers, exoskeletons, and habitats I can find. My favorite stories to work on are those that have a little bit of science, some humor and a lot of heart or those stories that shed light on misunderstood or under-appreciated creatures. I paint with watercolor, gouache, and digital tools. 

My debut picture book titled NEST was published in February 2024. I wrote science facts for and illustrated the book. NEST is published by BeaLu Books.

I also have a biology degree in fish and wildlife ecology.

In my spare time I enjoy flyfishing and identifying plants and insects that I find along the way. I am a picture book collector and a reader of books about nature. I love to garden and I am restoring a classic muscle car in my garage.
